WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS AT Academy of Martial Arts
We offer more than karate classes. Our dojo has a variety of workshops and special classes designed to meet the needs of adults who want the benefits of living a healthier lifestyle. Boot camp and women's self-defense are two of our most popular options.
Our boot camp workshops challenge students to reach higher levels of fitness. Workshops are designed to burn calories quickly while building muscle. That will boost your metabolism so that you burn more calories even when you aren't working out.
Boot camp combines aerobics with strength training so students lose weight, gain muscle, and improve their physical endurance. It's also a butt-kicking good time that keeps students motivated even when they feel like they can't do one more burpee.
By the end of the workshop, students go home with a sense of accomplishment. It's a great experience that improves physical and mental well-being.
The regular Karate classes at Naples Academy of Martial Arts includes self-defense instruction. Our instructors teach people of all ages how they can defend themselves in the real world. Even beginners can defend themselves when they know the most effective methods. It's amazing how quickly the body adapts to even a little self-defense training.
We also offer special self-defense seminars for groups of women.
Many women feel intimidated when they enter potentially dangerous environments. It's wise for them to feel that way, especially since so few women are taught how to defend themselves from attackers.
