KARATE

Our Academy proudly represents the Traditional style of Goju Ryu Karate which emphasizes internal and external physical and mental health.  Self Defense, Self Confidence, Bully Prevention and Stranger Danger Awareness are all an important part of our programs. Our classes begin at age 4 and our adult classes are open to all adults of all fitness levels.

KRAV MAGA

This Military self-defense and fighting system was developed for the Israel Defense Forces and Israeli security forces that are derived from a combination of techniques sourced from Boxing, Wrestling, Aikido, Judo and Karate, along with realistic fight training.  Fitness and Self Defense are a very big part of this program.

TAI CHI

Although tai chi is slow and gentle and doesn’t leave you breathless. It addresses the key components of fitness such as muscle strength, flexibility, balance, and, to a lesser degree, aerobic conditioning. Muscle strength is also developed through continued practice. Tai chi can improve both lower-body strength and upper-body strength.

KOBUDO

Weaponry is an extension of our Karate program.  Traditional weapons such as Sai, Kama, Tonfa, Bo and Escrima are taught as they relate to self defense. Students train Kata (forms) with each weapon.
